New World Oils
After much debate and research, we have finally decided to take the plunge. Until now, all of our products have been sourced from the 'Old World', Europe, the Mediterranean, Turkey,etc., because that is traditionally where the best oils in the world come from, right? Right.
However. . . there just happens to be this olive orchard, located in California's fertile Central Valley, intermingled with the world famous vineyards that have proven the value of California soils and climate. The growers have created a product from imported Arbequina olive trees that we feel rivals the Extra Virgin products we currently have on our shelves.
Taste and then you decide. Is it fresher? Greener? A little grassy? You will not find a fresher, cleaner taste. Join our local chefs who have already discovered the wonderful flavor this oil imparts to their sauces, salads and sautee pans. At present, this fine product is available in
